About The Opportunity

As a Market Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day of the exchange's markets and assets. This includes coordinating the listing of new assets, overseeing the entire lifecycle of markets. You will take action in the event of liquidations or defaults, and manage the execution of credit lines.

You will maintain strong relationships with liquidity partners through daily communication to ensure smooth market operations. Furthermore manage technical escalations, rate limits, and fee tiers to maintain a fair and orderly trading environment.

Working closely with our Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Customer Support teams, you will play a vital role in safeguarding market operations and delivering a seamless trading experience for our users.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing daily inquiries and communications from liquidity providers, including addressing their concerns, providing updates on market conditions, and offering support to ensure smooth and efficient trading operations.Manage market lifecycle for the markets listed in the Exchange, such as listing new markets, adjusting configurations, fee tiers, and delisting existing markets.
• Execute market interventions, such as trading halts, circuit breaker triggers, and order cancellations when required, following internal risk guidelines.
• Assist in the integration and operational support of liquidity providers, and institutional clients.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to report and diagnose technical issues impacting trading.
• Maintain and improve operational runbooks, workflows, and escalation procedures for faster issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations tooling and system reliability
• Overseeing client accounts by monitoring margin calls, fee tiers, implementing credit line changes, executing settlements
• Escalating technical issues and resolving problems through appropriate channels
  
  

What We Look For

• 2+ years of experience in a market operations, trading support, or exchange-related role (crypto, equities, FX, or commodities).
• Understanding of financial markets, trading mechanisms, and market microstructure.
• Experience with real-time monitoring tools and trading platforms.
• Familiarity with exchange operations; order books, market data feeds, matching engines, and trade execution processes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to analyze trading behaviors and market conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment and have on-call responsibilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the financial industry.
