This is a pivotal leadership role focused on spearheading initiatives to ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of our market-leading custody solutions, and drive innovation in our core custody platform and infrastructure. You will be responsible for guiding the Custody Engineering teams by directly managing and developing a team of Engineering Managers. Your role will involve fostering a culture of excellence, mentoring the next generation of engineering leaders within BitGo, and empowering your direct reports to build and scale high-performing, autonomous teams focused on delivering world-class custody products. While this role emphasizes leadership and strategy over daily coding, a deep technical understanding of secure systems, cryptography, and distributed ledger technologies, and the ability to guide architectural decisions, ensure technical excellence, and contribute to our overall technical strategy for custody are crucial. You will be a key partner in shaping the future of our custody offerings in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.
