Area(s) of responsibility
Job Title : EDI Architect
- EDI integrations required across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, logistics, and invoicing processes.
- Primary focus on Amazon 1P integration, including:
- Purchase Orders, Order Acknowledgements
- ASNs, Invoices, and Remittance Advice
- Integration with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) using cloud-native and managed EDI approaches.
- Need for use case–based EDI tooling, including:
- Managed EDI platforms (e.g., EDICOM, SPS Commerce)
- Azure-based integrations (Logic Apps / Integration Services)
- Support for multi-region compliance, scalability, partner onboarding, monitoring, and SLA-driven operations.
- Understand AS-IS architecture, transaction flows, standards, and operational dependencies.
- Identify gaps, risks, pain points, and improvement opportunities in existing EDI integrations.
- Evaluate Amazon 1P integration requirements and CEVA’s readiness for onboarding.
- Perform use case–based evaluation of EDI tools and integration platforms (e.g., Logic Apps, Managed EDI providers).
- Outline a high-level implementation plan for the JDE-to-Amazon 1P integration, broken down by phase.
- Provide a preliminary cost-benefit analysis for the proposed tooling strategy, including estimated implementation effort and potential operational savings.
