GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This role will be accountable for managing existing client relationships within their portfolio to create a positive client experience and drive opportunities for increased business. Activities will further include supporting the Business Development Team with cold calling of newly identified potential clients and selecting promising custom synthesis targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for driving new opportunities with existing clients to closure and ensuring effective execution internally
· Responsible for maintaining effective business relationships with clients, including administration of contracts and agreements
· Accountable for the internal alignment, preparation and delivery of SOWs, program amendment orders, and other required contracts.
· Accountable for developing and implementing account management plans for clients in their portfolio
· Accountable for maintaining strategic relationships (alliance management) with clients within their portfolio
· Responsible for updating and maintaining revenue forecasts
· Responsible for representing client accounts at the senior leadership team meetings
· Responsible for continuous improvement and streamlining of the client engagement and client onboarding processes
· Responsible for updating and maintaining client information within established tools (e.g. Salesforce)
