Role Description
- Install, adjust, maintain, repair and provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- To work under senior biomedical engineers and HOD.
- To be responsible for the maintenance & training.
- To maintain all the equipment’s in the hospital.
- To maintain the documents as required.
- To present the records for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for a range of medical technologies.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience working with Medical Equipment and an understanding of hospital equipment workflows and usage.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Electrical Safety standards and safe work practices in clinical and technical environments.
- Candidates should possess a background in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a biomedical technician or service engineer in a hospital, clinic, or medical device company is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple service requests.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clinical and technical teams on-site.
