Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer at Zynova Shalby Hospitals in Mumbai. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for managing medical equipment, conducting routine and preventive maintenance, ensuring proper functioning of biomedical devices, and troubleshooting issues. The role involves overseeing installations, calibrations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The role also requires collaboration with clinical teams to ensure optimal performance of medical technologies and supporting hospital operations.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure the reliability and safety of medical equipment.
  • Solid understanding of Medical Equipment and Clinical Engineering to address issues and optimize performance.
  • Background in Biomedical Engineering with knowledge of installation, calibration, and repair of biomedical devices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to regulatory and safety standards.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical support effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage.
