We are looking for a motivated and technically-skilled Biomedical Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of medical/biomedical equipment supplied or serviced by MindTrackHealthcare. The role involves collaborating with clinical staff, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all equipment is functional, safe, and compliant with standards.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, calibrate, and commission new biomedical / medical devices and equipment when delivered to hospital/clinic clients.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on biomedical equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning medical devices; perform repairs or arrange vendor support/ spare-parts if needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, calibration, repairs, spare parts, service history for each device / equipment.
- Provide technical support to clients (hospitals/clinics), and train their staff on proper operation and safety usage of biomedical equipment when required.
- Liaise with vendors/OEMs for procurement, spare parts, warranty issues, and technical support for complex repairs or installation. (Especially for imaging, lab or specialized equipment.)
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, regulatory and quality standards (local/regional regulations, hospital compliance) for medical devices.
- Assist internal team management in planning periodic maintenance schedules, inventory control (spare parts, equipment history), and evaluation of new equipment acquisition.
🎯 Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering / Biomedical Technology / Electronics / related field. Preferably with coursework related to biomedical equipment or instrumentation.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience working with biomedical or medical equipment (installation / maintenance / repair / calibration / servicing) — e.g. in a hospital, diagnostic lab, clinic or equipment-service company.
- Basic knowledge of electronic/electromechanical systems, ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical/electronic schematics.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills — able to quickly diagnose equipment issues and take corrective measures.
- Good communication skills — able to coordinate with clinical staff, vendors, and internal team; and to provide basic training on equipment use.
- Detail-oriented, with systematic approach to documentation — maintenance logs, calibration records, service history.
- (Preferable) Willingness to occasionally travel to client hospitals/ clinics — for installation, maintenance or emergency breakdown service.
- (Optional / Advantageous) Basic familiarity with regulatory standards for medical devices or willingness to learn relevant compliance guidelines.
💰 Salary / Compensation
₹ 20,000 – ₹ 50,000 per month (depending on experience, technical skills, and performance)
