Sudhangsu Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) & Bengal FAITH Hospital are looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our healthcare team.
🔧 Position
Biomedical Engineer — 5–6 Years of Experience
🎓 Qualification
✔️ Diploma / B.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized Institute / University
✔️ 5–6 years of relevant experience in hospital medical equipment maintenance
✔️ Medical College experience will be an added advantage
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
• Operation, preventive & corrective maintenance of medical equipment — ICU, OT, Radiology, Laboratory, etc.
• Equipment installation, calibration, validation & AMC management
• Vendor coordination and liaison
• Maintaining equipment records, logs & compliance documents
• Ensuring AERB, NABH and other statutory/safety compliance
• Training clinical and non-clinical staff on equipment usage
• Supporting procurement and technical evaluation of new equipment
💡 Skills Required
Strong technical, troubleshooting, analytical, communication and coordination skills, along with knowledge of biomedical equipment safety standards and regulatory requirements.
