Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging training sessions on Bioinformatics concepts and tools.
- Mentor students in computational biology, genomics, and biological data analysis.
- Provide hands-on training using industry-relevant tools and technologies.
- Guide learners through practical projects, assignments, and case studies.
- Help students develop industry-ready skills and prepare for career opportunities.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Bioinformatics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Bioinformatics training, mentoring, research, or industry.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Biological databases (NCBI, UniProt, Ensembl)
- Sequence analysis (BLAST, FASTA)
- Genomics and Transcriptomics
- NGS data analysis
- Python / R for Bioinformatics
- Linux and command-line tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Passion for teaching and guiding students.
