Job Overview:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Bioinformatics Interns to join our team. The intern will assist in analyzing Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data, supporting client projects, and contributing to internal bioinformatics workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform analysis of NGS data including DNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, and targeted sequencing
· Assist in developing, optimizing, and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines
· Support troubleshooting and technical queries related to bioinformatics workflows
· Assist in contacting prospective clients via email, phone, and LinkedIn
· Maintain and update CRM records with customer interactions and sales activities.
· Follow up with leads and existing clients to support sales conversion.
· Stay updated with the latest developments in bioinformatics and genomics.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computational Biology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of NGS technologies and genomic data analysis
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environment
- Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, R, or Bash
- Understanding of common bioinformatics tools (e.g., FASTQC, BWA, Bowtie, GATK)
