Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Bioinformatics Analyst. The Bioinformatics Analyst will be responsible for processing and analysing NGS datasets, utilizing bioinformatics tools and pipelines.
Qualifications
- Master’s in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in statistical methods and tools to analyze and interpret sequencing data accurately.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience handling and analyzing sequencing data using bioinformatics pipelines and techniques.
- Strong skills in data analysis, variant interpretation, and visualization to extract meaningful insights for research and development.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics methodologies and related tools to support projects in genomics, proteomics, or similar fields.
- Excellent research abilities to support scientific studies and help inform experimental designs.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, comfortable using Linux OS system
- Knowledge of DNA methylation/epigenetic sequencing is advantageous.
