Role Summary
OE-Manager
To drive Operational excellence initiatives
• Key driver for Operational Excellence activities for the site.
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in continuous improvement events in support of safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Manage major projects to drive improvement in process metrics, target financial benefits, and achieve company goals.
• Provide training and coaching in Lean and Six Sigma concepts and responsible to ensure application of LSS concepts and implementation of lean concepts like Heijunka, Kanban, jidoka, Value stream mapping etc.
• Responsible to lead the change process by working closely with the Site Head and the rest of Site Leadership Team
• Mentor Green Belts, Yellow belts in their initiatives (cost reduction, capacity enhancement etc.)
• Develop annual roadmap for OE Journey and monitor progress against roadmap.
• Co-ordinate OE project (initiatives) selection across site.
• Review the capability development plan including training need identification, training plan and execution. Provide input on future training needs.
• Facilitate Idea Harvesting and follow up for implementation of the ideas.
• Track the accrued and annualized savings from LSS-projects and Kaizens monthly basis & get the savings validated through finance
• Participate in Lean daily management meetings to ensure that structured approach is followed as well as issues are analyzed by cross functional teams, data is used for decision making and action plans are closed on time
• Create a culture of continuous improvement through idea harvesting, Kaizen, OE tools and improvement methodologies, and problem-solving skill development program.
• Conduct OE Maturity Assessment to measure the progress made by the teams and suggest areas of improvement.
• Report progress of the OE initiative to the management
• Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual performance on KPIs, analyze major deviations and report to top management also prepare report for management was and when required
• Monitor the capability of product wise KPIVs (Key Process Input Variables) on a defined frequency (weekly or monthly) to identify and address opportunity for improvements

Educational Qualifications
Required Education Qualification: B.E
Required Experience: 10 - 12 years
