Job details:
A BIM Steel Detailer is responsible for creating accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings of structural steel components using BIM software such as Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit, Advance Steel or AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
· Develop 3D models of structural steel (beams, columns, bracing, connections).
· Prepare shop drawings, GA drawings, and erection drawings.
· Create fabrication details including bolts, welds, and material lists.
· Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams.
· Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Qualifications
Diploma/B.E/ B.Tech - Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
0-10 Yrs, (Candidate working with Tekla & interested in Advanced Steel can apply)
Understanding of structural drawings and steel fabrication processes.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in BIM and steel detailing software.
