Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a BIM Specialist at BimAid Engineering Private Limited. The BIM Specialist will develop and manage MEP BIM models across all project stages, ensuring alignment with design intent, standards, and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating BIM models with multidisciplinary teams, performing clash detection and resolution, preparing shop drawings and submittal packages, and maintaining accurate model data for construction and facility management. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and consultants, supporting quantity take-offs and as-built documentation, and optimizing workflows to enhance model accuracy and project efficiency. The BIM Specialist will be expected to uphold quality standards, meet project deadlines, and actively contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination.
- Candidates should possess relevant knowledge in Architecture and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Candidates should possess experience in preparing and reviewing Submittals and coordinated BIM documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with clash detection workflows.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-disciplinary teams.
- Relevant education in engineering, architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in MEP BIM project delivery, are highly beneficial.
