Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler (MEP) with 3+ years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing modeling. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring project deliverables are completed as per project standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop detailed MEP BIM models using Revit and other BIM software.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines for clash-free modeling.
- Generate shop drawings, coordinated drawings, sections, and BOQs from BIM models.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and participate in coordination meetings.
- Maintain BIM standards, templates, and project workflows.
- Update models based on client comments, design revisions, and site requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all BIM deliverables.
- Collaborate with project engineers, BIM coordinators, and site teams for smooth execution.
- Support project documentation and submission requirements.
Required Skills & Software Knowledge
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP & Navisworks.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM standards.
- Understanding of MEP systems and construction drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and within deadlines.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or building projects.
- Knowledge of BIM 360 / ACC will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to LOD 300/350/400 modeling standards preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP BIM Modeling.
