- Position Title: BIM Modeler (Civil 3D-Wet Utility)
- Experience Required: 6 - 8 Years
- Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
- Location: Gurgaon, Delhi
- Department: Water Engineering and Management Department Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Civil 3D Wet Utility Modeler with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing and modeling Storm water drainage, potable water, sewerage and TSE networks. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D, have a strong understanding of wet utility engineering principles, and be capable of producing high‑quality models, layouts, sections, and construction drawings. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed wet utility models i.e., storm water drainage, potable water, TSE and sewerage networks using Autodesk Civil 3D. Components shall include pipe networks, open and closed channels, drainage structures, culverts, manholes, chambers, appurtenances, fittings etc.,
- Prepare plan & profile drawings for all wet utility networks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Generate corridor‑based utility alignments pressure networks and gravity networks.
- Coordinate utility layouts with track, roads, structures, MEPF and landscaping teams.
- Manage clash detection and propose alternative routing solutions when required.
- Work closely with design engineers to translate engineering calculations into Civil 3D models.
- Support BIM coordinators in exporting Civil 3D utility models for Navisworks/BIM 360.
- Produce utility drawings including: o Plan and Profiles o Cross-sections o Manhole schedules o Valve chamber details o As‑built updates
- Maintain project templates, layers, styles, and drafting standards.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, coordinate systems, and BIM workflows.
- Prepare utility modeling reports, hydraulic summaries, and design notes when required.
- Conduct quality checks on models and drawings before submission.
- Provide guidance to junior draftsmen/modelers as required.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and time-management skills.
- Problem‑solving and ability to deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
- Autodesk Civil 3D certification (preferred but not mandatory).
