Role Description This is a full-time, on-site BIM MEP Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The BIM MEP Engineer will develop and manage coordinated BIM models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building services, ensuring design accuracy and constructability. Responsibilities include reviewing and integrating MEP designs, detecting and resolving clashes, and maintaining updated models through various project stages. The role involves close coordination with design consultants, site engineers, and other disciplines to ensure alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards. The BIM MEP Engineer will also prepare drawings, documentation, and reports to support project delivery and contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows and standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering skills, including exposure to Building Services.
- Candidates should possess experience in MEP coordination, including multidisciplinary integration and clash detection.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of plumbing systems design and installation within building projects.
- Candidates should possess foundational electrical engineering knowledge relevant to building services and MEP systems.
- Proficiency in BIM tools (such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) and understanding of BIM standards and workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
- Prior experience in real estate, construction, or large-scale building projects is an advantage.
