Objective and Scope:

The objective of the BIM Executive - Scan to BIM is to support the conversion of point cloud data from laser scans into accurate 3D BIM models, facilitating the creation of as-built documentation and contributing to project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:       

• Assist in developing basic BIM models from point cloud data using software like Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ensure that models comply with both company and client standards.
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external teams regarding design changes and model updates.
• Create Revit Families and libraries based on the provided inputs.
• Possess a basic understanding of various disciplines, including Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (ASMEPF).
• Perform regular self-quality checks and submit reports at project milestones.
• Work closely with senior team members to understand project requirements and execution.
• Assist in preparing project documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Continuously develop skills in BIM software and processes, staying updated with the latest Scan to BIM tools and best practices.
