Position Title
Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer to join our BIM/VDC team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing Mechanical BIM models for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems across various projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, BIM coordination expertise, and the ability to lead a team while ensuring project quality and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed Mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools.
- Create HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection models as per project requirements and standards.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Autodesk Navisworks.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to resolve design and coordination issues.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), LOD requirements, and client standards.
- Lead Mechanical BIM deliverables for multiple projects.
- Review and validate BIM models, shop drawings, and construction documents before submission.
- Guide and mentor BIM modelers and junior engineers.
- Prepare HVAC ducting systems, chilled water piping, plumbing systems, and fire protection layouts.
- Generate schedules, quantities, and documentation from BIM models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–8+ years of experience in Mechanical BIM modeling and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, healthcare, educational, or industrial projects.

- Autodesk Revit
- Autodesk Navisworks
- AutoCAD
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- MS Office Suite

Preferred Experience
