Role Description
We are seeking a skilled BIM Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The BIM Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models, collaborating with project stakeholders, and ensuring designs align with industry standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with architects and engineers, ensuring proper documentation, conducting clash detections, and creating detailed drawings and schematics for various engineering disciplines. The role also involves providing training and guidance to junior team members on BIM tools and workflows.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of architecture, structure, and MEP systems
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and 3D visualization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects
- Working knowledge of industry standards, codes, and practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit) are an advantage
- Prior teaching or mentorship experience is a plus
