Role Description The BIM Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for coordinating BIM models across disciplines, ensuring model integrity, and supporting clash detection and resolution for architecture, structural, and MEP teams. The BIM Coordinator will manage model updates, maintain standardized workflows, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to align BIM deliverables with project timelines and quality requirements. Daily activities include reviewing and integrating discipline-specific models, preparing coordination reports, supporting Digital Twin and project intelligence workflows, and assisting with documentation and data extraction for design and construction teams.
Qualifications
- Strong BIM Coordination skills with experience leading multidisciplinary model integration and clash resolution.
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms and tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 or similar environments).
- Knowledge of Architecture and building design principles, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in a coordinated BIM environment.
- Project Management capabilities, including planning, tracking deliverables, and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Digital Twin workflows, construction intelligence dashboards, or data-centric project delivery is an advantage.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced project environments.
