Job Description – BIM Coordinator (MEP)
Industry: Data Center Projects
Location: India

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator with a strong MEP background for large-scale Data Center projects in India. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models, ensuring clash-free design integration, and supporting project delivery through efficient BIM execution and coordination processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP BIM models for Data Center projects across all project stages.
- Manage and review BIM deliverables from design and engineering teams.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project requirements, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with Structural, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, and ELV teams.
- Prepare and manage federated models for coordination meetings.
- Conduct BIM coordination meetings and track design changes/issues.
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), workflows, and coordination procedures.
- Ensure accurate model data, naming conventions, and documentation standards.
- Support quantity take-off, model validation, and project reporting activities.
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for smooth project execution.
- Mentor junior BIM engineers/modelers and provide technical guidance when required.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in MEP BIM Coordination for Data Center or Mission Critical projects.
- Expertise in:
- Autodesk Revit MEP
- Navisworks Manage
- AutoCAD
- BIM 360 / ACC
- Good understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and LOD development.
- Knowledge of international BIM standards and workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordination activities efficiently.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- BIM Certification will be an added advantage.
