The Opportunity
The BIM Coordinator is an integral part of the design team who leads and coordinates the process of generating digital models and integrated data often referred as ‘Information’ about a project, from the design stage to the construction stage. The BIM Coordinator is often regarded as a chief figure in a project team and has responsibility for the BIM workflow and ensuring that any potential issues during modelling, clash detection and data conversion are dealt with efficiently. In general, the BIM Coordinator is the go-to person for setting up project specific guidelines and is responsible for linking information across disciplines. The focus of the BIM-Coordinator is to keep the federated model up to date and highlight clashed and issues between the disciplines following ISO19650.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Make sure general procedures defined by the BIM Manager are used during project execution
- Prepare BIM execution plans and project specific training documentation.
- Ensure that the specified BIM execution plan is followed during project execution
- Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines.
- Proficient in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support and mentoring required to the project team.
- Manage and maintain project content and source any additional content as required.
- Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams.
- Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets/workflow and project set up.
- Communicate effectively and offer cross-team support.
- Frequent model management administration and maintenance.
- Setup and moderate regular BIM coordination meetings between all project disciplines.
- Manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical and human resources.
- Use your negotiation skills to finalize the terms that would benefit your projects.
- Lead and drive project related BIM Use cases like: Clash and Clearance Checks ,BIM-4D Simulation ,Issue Management , Visualizations & Asset management.
- Responsible for Hardware Integration, interfacing with RTDS, Factory Acceptance Test, Customer meetings, Site testing, Test records documentation.

Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical /civil/mechanical background and proficient in BIM Process/Methodology.
- 8 - 12 years professional work experience in BIM Coordination and Project experience in Power Grids / FACTS / AIS and GIS or AEC Industries.
- Strong understanding of BIM methodology, workflows, and ISO 19650 principles.
- Ability to interpret and enforce BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements.
- Expertise in model coordination and federation across multiple disciplines.
- Proficient in clash detection, clearance checks, and issue identification.
- Hands‑on skills in Revit, Navisworks, and ACC / BIM 360.
- Strong working knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows (WIP, Shared, Published)
- Ability to manage BIM issue tracking, reporting, and follow‑up in ACC.
- Capable of leading BIM coordination meetings and driving issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills across disciplines.
- Strong organizational skills to handle frequent model updates and maintenance.
- High attention to detail and procedural discipline.
- Ability to mentor and provide technical support to BIM Modelers.
- Good understanding of discipline dependencies and interfaces
- Exposure to BIM use cases such as 4D simulation, visualization, and asset support (preferred)
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
