Role Description The BIM Architect role at Rajendran Architects is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The BIM Architect will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models for infrastructure and architectural projects, ensuring accuracy and coordination across disciplines. Day-to-day tasks include preparing architectural drawings and construction documentation, reviewing and updating submittals, and collaborating with engineers, consultants, and project managers to resolve design and coordination issues. The role involves participating in design development, supporting project teams with BIM standards and workflows, and contributing to quality checks to align documentation with project requirements and regulations. The BIM Architect will also assist in optimizing design solutions for metro and infrastructure projects, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture, with the ability to translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
- Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
- Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, preferably on infrastructure or transit projects.
- Ability to prepare, review, and coordinate Submittals and other project documentation in alignment with standards and client requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams in an on-site environment.
- Experience in infrastructure or metro/transportation projects is highly desirable.
