Role Description The BIM Architect will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with project teams to develop accurate BIM models and architectural drawings. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and refining architectural and construction drawings, coordinating BIM documentation, and ensuring that models align with design intent and project standards. The role involves reviewing and updating models based on design changes, preparing and managing submittals, and supporting coordination between architecture, engineering, and construction stakeholders. The BIM Architect will also assist in resolving design and detailing issues, maintaining project documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of CADBricks’ BIM workflows. Regular collaboration with internal team members and client representatives is expected to meet quality, schedule, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture with the ability to interpret and develop Architectural Drawings.
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience in model creation, coordination, and documentation.
- Experience producing and reviewing Construction Drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design and regulatory standards.
- Ability to prepare, manage, and track Submittals in coordination with project teams and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of industry-standard CAD/BIM software (such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar).
- Attention to detail, strong spatial and technical understanding, and the ability to solve design and coordination issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary AEC teams in an on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; prior experience in BIM-focused roles within the AEC industry is preferred.
