Role Description The BIM Architect will contribute to detailed design development and production of coordinated BIM models and architectural documentation for complex building projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and managing architectural and construction drawings, setting up and maintaining BIM standards, coordinating models with multiple disciplines, and preparing submittals and authority-compliant packages. The role involves close collaboration with senior architects, consultants, and project managers to translate design intent into accurate, buildable information, while monitoring clashes, resolving technical issues, and ensuring consistency across project deliverables. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, where in-office collaboration is combined with some flexibility for work-from-home, depending on project needs and team coordination.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture, with experience in design development and technical detailing.
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model setup, coordination, clash detection, and BIM standards implementation.
- Ability to produce and coordinate Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings that are accurate, buildable, and authority-compliant.
- Experience preparing and managing Submittals, including consultant coordination and responses to authority and contractor queries.
- Advanced skills in relevant software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related tools.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Experience working on mid- to large-scale projects (mixed-use, residential, commercial, hospitality, or high-rise) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, process-driven environment.
- Attention to detail, accountability for deliverables, and a commitment to design quality and technical rigor.
