Role Description The Billing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ratlam. This role is responsible for preparing and processing invoices, managing client billing records, and ensuring accurate entry of billing data into the accounting system. Daily tasks include verifying purchase orders and delivery notes, reconciling billing discrepancies, coordinating with the sales and warehouse teams, and responding to billing-related inquiries from clients. The Billing Specialist will also support basic accounting activities related to billing, maintain organized documentation, and follow internal controls and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Billing Process and Client Billing practices, with the ability to handle high volumes of transactions accurately.
- Hands-on experience with Invoicing, including preparation, verification, and tracking of invoices.
- Foundational knowledge of Accounting principles as they relate to billing and reconciliation.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with billing or accounting software and MS Excel; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and a structured approach to documentation.
- Prior experience in retail, wholesale, or electrical goods distribution is an advantage.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or certification in commerce, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
