We are currently looking to hire a Billing
Executive to join our team. Please find the brief details below for your reference.
Position: Billing Executive
Location: Mahape (Navi Mumbai)
Experience Required: 1.5 Year.
Qualification: BCOM.
Key Responsibilities (grouped And Prioritized)
Responsibilities are grouped by priority to provide clarity on primary focus areas.
High Priority – Core Billing & Invoicing
- Generate and process invoices for daily sales orders accurately and timely.
- Ensure billing aligns with company policies and pricing structures.
- Verify purchase orders, delivery challans, and billing data before invoice generation.
- Handle debit/credit notes and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Follow up on pending invoices and work to resolve billing-related issues to minimize outstanding receivables.
Medium Priority – Compliance, Reporting & Recordkeeping
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and other applicable tax requirements.
- Maintain proper records of invoices and transaction documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports for management review.
Medium Priority – Reconciliation, Audit & Coordination
- Assist in accounts reconciliation and support internal/external audit processes.
- Coordinate closely with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and billing inputs.
Low Priority – Process Improvement
- Identify recurring billing issues and suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of GST and invoicing processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced FMCG environment
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
Preferred Skills
- Experience in FMCG distribution or retail billing
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP/Tally
