Job Title: Executive – Billing
Department: Accounts / Finance
Reporting To: CFO/Plant Manager
Location: Changodar
Job Summary:
The Executive – Billing is responsible for preparing accurate and timely invoices, ensuring compliance with GST regulations, maintaining billing records, and coordinating with sales, despatch, and accounts teams to ensure smooth billing operations and revenue realization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Preparation
(a) Prepare tax invoices, proforma invoices, debit/credit notes.
(b) Verify sales orders, dispatch details, and pricing before billing.
(c) Ensure accuracy in quantity, rates, GST calculations, and customer details.
2. GST & Compliance
(a) Generate and verify E-invoices and E-way bills
(b) Ensure proper GST classification (HSN/SAC codes).
(c) Maintain records as per GST and statutory requirements.
(d) Coordinate with accounts team during GST return filing.
(e) Coordinate with Sales and Dispatch departments for billing clearance.
3. Accounts & Reconciliation
(a) Maintain billing register and records.
(b) Assist in debtor reconciliation.
(c) Support accounts team in month-end closing.
(d) Track pending invoices and update status.
4. ERP & Data Management
(a) Enter billing data in ERP/Tally/SAP system.
(b) Maintain proper digital and physical documentation.
(c) Generate daily/monthly billing MIS reports.
5. Key Skills Required:
(a) Strong knowledge of GST and invoicing process.
(b) Familiarity with ERP software (Tally / SAP / Busy / etc.).
(c) Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
(d) Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
(e) Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation.
6. Additional Responsibilities
(a) Any related job assigned by the superior authority / HoD / Reporting Manager
(b) Work in flexible shifts
Educational Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com preferred
- Any Graduate with billing experience
Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in billing/accounts in a manufacturing company.
