Role Description The Billing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur. This position is responsible for preparing, generating, and issuing invoices, verifying billing data for accuracy, and ensuring timely receipt of payments. Daily activities include reconciling accounts, tracking outstanding balances, coordinating with internal teams and clients to resolve billing discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date billing records in the company’s systems. The Billing Executive also supports reporting on billing performance, adheres to relevant financial and compliance guidelines, and contributes to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in billing processes, invoicing, and account reconciliation, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, accounting or ERP software, and basic financial reporting tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external clients to resolve billing issues.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and maintain clear documentation.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and billing compliance standards; prior experience in a finance or accounts role is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Nagpur, operate independently within set guidelines, and uphold confidentiality and data security.
- Minimum educational background in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field; professional certifications in accounting or billing are an advantage.
