Role Description The Billing Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gandhinagar. The Billing Executive will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, including preparing, verifying, and issuing invoices in accordance with company policies and client agreements. The role involves monitoring billing data, reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing. The Billing Executive will also support finance-related documentation, maintain organized records, and communicate with customers or stakeholders to address billing queries and provide clear information. Attention to detail, adherence to timelines, and consistent follow-up are key aspects of the day-to-day work.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the billing process and practical experience with invoicing.
- Analytical skills to interpret billing data, identify discrepancies, and support account reconciliations.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and address customer billing queries.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of finance principles relevant to billing and accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing or ERP software, with ability to maintain accurate records.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple billing tasks and deadlines.
- Prior experience in logistics, shipping, or related industries is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
