Role Description:
Full-time, on-site role for a Billing Engineer responsible for BOQ preparation, rate analysis, billing, and cost verification. The role involves handling contractor and subcontractor bills, quantity take-offs, budget tracking, and maintaining proper documentation. The candidate will coordinate with site and project teams to ensure accuracy in billing and compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage BOQs
- Conduct rate analysis and cost estimation
- Process and verify contractor and subcontractor bills
- Perform quantity take-offs and measurement verification
- Track project budgets and maintain billing records
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, GST norms, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with site teams for progress validation
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience in construction billing and quantity surveying
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and billing processes
- Understanding of compliance, GST, and construction regulations
- Proficiency in MS Excel; AutoCAD preferred
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Experience in relevant field 4 to 5 years.
