Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Bill of Quantities Engineer. The Bill of Quantities Engineer will be responsible for preparing and analyzing bills of quantities, estimating and costing project requirements, assessing material and labor needs, and coordinating with engineering and procurement teams. The role also involves ensuring compliance with project specifications and maintaining accurate documentation of project costs and timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimation, and material take-offs
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with project management tools and software
- Working knowledge of the semiconductor or petrochemical industries is a plus
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including procurement and design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools is advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Excel and project costing tools
