BPSC AE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Educational Qualification: A degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from any Indian University/Institute (AICTE Approved). Degrees obtained through regular mode from Deemed Universities recognized by UGC are valid. Degrees from distance education technical courses are not valid. Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) or passing Sections 'A' and 'B' of the Institution of Engineers (India) is also acceptable. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2024): Minimum Age: 21 years. Maximum Age: Varies based on department and category, with cutoff dates specified for different departments (refer to table in source). Generally: Unreserved (Male): 37 years. BC/EBC (Male & Female) & Unreserved (Female): 40 years. SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years. Age relaxation is applicable for government servants (5 years, subject to conditions), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (10 years), Ex-Servicemen (3 years + service duration, up to 57 years), and candidates previously employed as Assistant Engineers on contract (equivalent to contract period).
