About Position:
The Data Governance Architect leads the end‑to‑end design and implementation of the data governance framework using BigID, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, local health data protection laws) and alignment with enterprise data strategy.
- Role: BigID Engineer

- Experience: 8 to 12 years

What You'll Do:
- Architect the overall BigID governance framework, covering discovery, classification, lineage, retention, archival, deletion, retrieval, and auditability.
- Translate healthcare regulatory requirements (PHI, PII, consent, retention mandates) into BigID policies, rules, and workflows.
- Define enterprise‑wide classification standards, entity taxonomy, and sensitivity models for structured and unstructured data.
- Design the target BigID operating model, including lifecycle workflows, approval models, and stewardship interactions.
- Provide architectural oversight across Prepare, Readiness, Implement, and Handover phases.
- Act as the primary authority for governance design decisions and enterprise sign‑offs
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Strong SQL, scripting, and data engineering skills
- Experience working with healthcare data systems and lifecycle controls
- Experience of Azure cloud platform
- Ensure security, error handling, logging, and performance optimization
