Experience: 6–8 Years
Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Mumbai / Indore / Ahmedabad
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Big Data Engineer with expertise in Hadoop Ecosystem to join our Digital team. The candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing large-scale data processing systems and ensuring high performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Big Data solutions using Hadoop and related technologies.
- Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Work with distributed systems to ensure data reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN).
- Hands-on experience with Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie.
- Proficiency in Spark and Kafka.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra).
- Programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to data lake architectures and machine learning pipelines.
- Certification in Big Data technologies is a plus.
