Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Framework Expertise: Deep understanding of U.S. prudential regulatory requirements including Basel (Capital Rule), CCAR, SCCL, and Liquidity standards (e.g., LCR, NSFR, FR 2052a). Ability to interpret regulatory text and translate into technical conformance requirements test scripts.
• System Logic Reconstruction and Independent Testing: Proven ability to manually reperform system logic and compare outcomes to regulatory expectations.
• Process and Systems Mapping: Ability to analyze and assess whether documented procedures and underlying systems align with regulatory expectations, including understanding of traceability from regulatory requirement to internal documentation to system behavior.

Nice to have skillsets:

• Risk & Finance Knowledge: Conceptual understanding of capital planning, liquidity risk management, and exposure aggregation. Ability to contextualize conformance testing outcomes within broader risk and finance frameworks.
• Banking Operations and Reporting: Comfort with tracing complex upstream data flows and familiarity with key regulatory reports (e.g., FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q/M, FR 2052a) reporting logic.
• Technical Aptitude: Working knowledge of SQL or other data query tools to enable independent reperformance of system logic.
• Communication & Remediation Tracking: Experience summarizing findings, performing root-cause analysis, and documenting recommended remediation actions. Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with relevant stakeholders
