Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to build and manage scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, strong data modeling skills, and the ability to deliver business insights through Power BI dashboards. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into efficient data solutions.
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks. Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with large datasets. Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and optimization. Solid understanding of data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema). Experience with Git for version control and basic CI/CD practices. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work with business and technical teams.
KRAs
Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Databricks. Design and optimize data models to support efficient analytics and reporting. Create and enhance Power BI dashboards with a focus on performance, usability, and business relevance. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights. Troubleshoot data pipeline and reporting issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes. Manage code versioning, deployments, and releases using Git (including GitHub). Participate in migration activities (e.g., Azure DevOps to GitHub) and ensure smooth transitions. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
