Software Engineer

As a Founding Engineer at Bidso, led backend development, working closely with business and product leaders to identify high-impact initiatives and drive development, launch, and adoption of core platform features with full ownership. Designed and developed a secure, JWT-based Authentication and Identity Management microservice to support user and company onboarding and management and enabled robust role-based access control. Designed and developed an asynchronous, scalable PDF generation microservice, enabling efficient handling of concurrent requests and optimized processing for high-volume document creation, improving overall system throughput and reliability. Revamped production workflow service by migrating from a synchronous legacy Django service to an asynchronous FastAPI service, resulting in a 30% improvement in throughput and enhanced system performance. Developed and maintain a shared HTTP caller that powers inter-service communication across microservices, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous HTTP calls. Led the end-to-end backend development of an in-house Material Requisition Planner—a centralized workflow tool for production planning and raw material sourcing across multiple factories. Drove feature development, API design, and rollout strategy while collaborating with front-end and business teams to align technical implementation with operational goals. Ensured service performance and stability by setting up and leveraging Logfire to monitor backend services, proactively identify performance bottlenecks, and maintain API response times under 300ms in alignment with SLA requirements. Deployed and maintained Airflow DAGs to orchestrate scheduled cron jobs Mentored junior engineers and interns by conducting code reviews, guiding design discussions, and leading technical brainstorming sessions to support their technical development.
