DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure of our B2B webshop. This role is critical for ensuring system reliability, scalability, and seamless deployments, supporting the technical lead and development team in building a robust platform. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Automate provisioning, configuration and scaling of environments. Build and maintain continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Streamline deployment processes to ensure quick and error-free rollouts. Implement monitoring tools to ensure system uptime and performance e.g (Datadog, New Relic or similar). Diagnose and resolve infrastructure related issues promptly. Ensure systems are compliant with best practices for data security and protection. Regularly update and patch servers and applications to mitigate vulnerabilities. Work closely with the Technical Lead to align infrastructure strategies with development goals. Provide support for developers in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.). Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) is a plus.
