Position: Bid Coordinator
Location: Bengaluru
Industry: Construction / Construction Consultancy
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and support end-to-end bid and proposal activities across multiple opportunities in India, with limited support for UK bids.
• Prepare bid schedules, submission plans, compliance checklists, and responsibility matrices.
• Review tender/RFP documents and identify submission requirements, timelines, and compliance criteria.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, technical teams, leadership, and external partners to gather required bid inputs.
• Support the drafting, editing, and formatting of bid responses to ensure clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
• Assist in developing executive summaries, methodology sections, case studies, and other proposal content.
• Coordinate the preparation of client presentations, pitch decks, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure proposals are visually appealing, properly formatted, and aligned with company branding standards.
• Manage document control, version tracking, bid folders, templates, CVs, and credential documents.
• Ensure all submissions are compliant, accurate, complete, and submitted within deadlines.
• Support post-submission activities, including clarifications, interview coordination, and presentation preparation.
• Maintain and update bid libraries, templates, and submission records to improve efficiency and quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Good presentation and document formatting skills, with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in bid coordination, tender management, or proposal support is essential.
• Background in the construction industry is mandatory.
• Good understanding of consultancy, project management, cost management, engineering, building surveying, facility management, or related construction services.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Background:
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in bid coordination, proposal support, or related roles.
• Experience within a construction consultancy, project management, cost consultancy, or engineering environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting tender submissions, proposals, and client presentations.
