Required Technical Skills & Experience
- Power BI (end-to-end, senior level)
- Proven experience as a Senior Power BI Developer on complex, enterprise-grade dashboards.
- Strong in data modeling within Power BI (star schema, large fact tables, relationship management, calculation groups where applicable).
- Expert-level DAX for advanced measures, time intelligence, and complex business logic.
- Solid Power Query / M skills for in-model transformations when needed.
- Performance optimization: incremental refresh, aggregations, query reduction techniques, model tuning.
- Strong experience with Power BI Service: workspaces, apps, deployment, permissions, and row-level security.
- Snowflake
- Hands-on experience building Power BI solutions on top of Snowflake as the primary data source.
- Comfortable working with curated Snowflake tables prepared by data engineering/BI teams (no need to own ingestion).
- Microsoft Copilot for Power BI
- Practical experience using Copilot for Power BI to accelerate report development, DAX creation, and insight generation (not just experimentation).
- Environment & tooling
- Experience working in Agile teams using Jira (or similar) for backlog and sprint management.
- Familiarity with enterprise BI environments and standard governance practices.
- Experience level (target)
- 6 years of BI / data analytics experience, with substantial, deep, hands-on Power BI project work.
- Demonstrated track record delivering and maintaining complex, multi-stakeholder dashboards end-to-end.
