Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Design and optimize data models, tables, and relationships.
- Write efficient SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) purposes.
- Create and manage Common Table Expressions (CTEs), temporary tables, and subqueries.
- Perform advanced data analysis using aggregate functions, window functions, and joins.
- Detect and eliminate duplicate records using techniques such as ROW_NUMBER() and RANK().
- Write queries to support business reporting, analytics, and dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues using indexing, execution plans, and query tuning.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to meet data requirements.Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL (preferably T-SQL or PL/SQL).
- Solid experience with joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and aggregations.
- Deep understanding of GROUP BY, HAVING, ROW_NUMBER(), RANK(), and other analytical functions. Experience with DML (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) and DDL (CREATE, ALTER).
- Experience in debugging and optimizing complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with large datasets and transactional systems.
- Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, orMySQL.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code
