Your role
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. This position falls under our lodging line of business but will also support other areas such as airline and insurance. In this role, you will create and maintain Tableau dashboards—both internal dashboards for senior leadership to gain insights into business performance and external dashboards for our clients to analyze their travel expense patterns. You will directly contribute to improving business insights, operational efficiencies, and client satisfaction.

As a BI Analyst, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment based out of our Chennai office location. Corpay will set you up for success by providing the necessary resources and collaboration opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development & Maintenance
- Build, deploy, and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize key business metrics and trends.
- Leverage data from diverse sources (e.g., lodging, airline, and insurance) to provide meaningful insights for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Ensure that dashboards adhere to best practices in data visualization and are easily interpretable by non-technical audiences.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Gather requirements from various business units to understand reporting needs and identify potential data sources.
- Translate raw data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Data Quality & Dashboard Management
- Oversee data acquisition and enrichment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage and maintain dashboards on Tableau Server, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor dashboards regularly and address issues related to data integrity or performance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams—including product, marketing, client management, sales, and IT—to ensure data insights align with overall business objectives.
- Communicate findings to leadership in a clear, concise manner, tailoring the level of detail to the audience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s desirable but not essential) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline).
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Tableau: Strong knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server; experience building and maintaining production-level dashboards is essential.
- Programming Language: Substantial exposure to relational databases and uses of SQL, R and Python
- Additional Tools: Familiarity with Alteryx or other automated data preparation tools is a plus but not required.
- Data Architecture: Exposure to data lakes (e.g., AWS) or data warehousing solutions.
- Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and deliver insights that drive business decisions.
- Industry Background: Previous experience in the lodging or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate data findings into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on business impact.
