- Understanding of video compression techniques to optimize video files for different platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into finished content that matches the director's vision.
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the storytelling capability of the video.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all video content.
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing for high-quality output.
- Resolve complex technical video editing issues and achieve creative goals through innovative solutions.
