Scientific Officer / Engineer - SE (C)

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India's premier multi-disciplinary nuclear research centre under Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. BARC is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the post of Scientific Officer / Engineer - SE (C) in the discipline of Civil Engineering.Responsibilities: The responsibilities shall include: 1) Design, construction and maintenance of civil structures including buildings, roads, bridges, water supply, drainage, sewerage disposal, etc., 2) Preparation of estimates, tender documents, detailed project reports, 3) Monitoring and supervision of ongoing construction works, 4) Maintenance of buildings and civil infrastructure, 5) Any other duties assigned by the Competent Authority.Qualifications & Experience: Essential: i) Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. ii) Minimum 05 years of post qualification relevant experience in Design, Construction, Maintenance of Civil Structures / Infrastructure / Services in a Government organization or Public / Private Sector undertaking. Desirable: i) Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, ii) Knowledge of latest construction techniques and materials, iii) Experience in Construction Project Management, iv) Knowledge of latest IS Codes.
