Data Science Co-Op

In addition to maintaining hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development. We are seeking a Data Science Co-Op to join our team. This role will be a part of the Business Intelligence team and will aid in the development and improvement of Bevi's organizational data models, positioning the company for rapid scalability and enabling data-driven decisions across all business units. The purpose of this role is to help build automations that transform raw data from our enterprise systems into business ready data models and build Data Science and BI solutions on top of the clean data to provide actionable insights to the users. What you will do: Build SQL models to clean and store raw data into Snowflake from NetSuite, Salesforce and other systems Develop predictive and pattern recognition capabilities on existing data such as IoT, services, Customer Support, Sales etc. Develop end-to-end analytics and automation solutions. Includes ideation, requirements gathering, solution design, data cleansing, analysis and publishing results Develop and maintain LookML models and Looker dashboards for business users Answer/solve business questions through data and integrate data models, insights and analysis with business decision making What Projects you will work on: Support and Update LLM based internal Q&A Chatbot Design and develop ML models for product usage and sales Develop advanced analytics in partnership with Sales & Marketing teams Contribute to Bevi's universal data dictionary We think you will bring: Working towards Master's degree in an analytically rigorous field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems) Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze complex datasets Intermediate fluency in Python, specifically developing forecasting/ML models Experience using quantitative methods to evaluate product/system/service performance Basic understanding of how an LLM functions and understanding of customization techniques like RAG, and fine tuning. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across stakeholder groups Experience working with Cloud infrastructure or PAAS solutions (Docker) Experience working with data mining on large datasets ("big data") Experience building dashboards in Looker or other relevant data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Grafana, etc.)
