K95 Foods is looking for a hands-on technical leader to own beverage process development, fermentation standardisation, and product consistency for our kombucha and other non-fermented beverage portfolio.
This is not a routine production role and not a pure quality role. We are looking for someone who can solve real factory-level product and process problems, build robust technical systems, and make our beverages repeatable at scale.
What you will own
- Solving product and process issues such as pulp chunking, instability, sediment, separation, acidity drift, and process variation
- Defining the right process for blending, fruit addition, fermentation interface, filtration, screening, and homogenisation compatibility
- Standardising kombucha fermentation and reducing batch-to-batch variation
- Building a controlled fermentation system
- Creating SOPs, process standards, control limits, and troubleshooting guides
- Setting raw material, in-process, and finished-product technical specifications
- Running plant trials and validating technical changes on actual production batches
- Working closely with Production, QA, and Engineering to build repeatable processes
What we are looking for
- 6–12 years of relevant experience in beverage, fermented beverage, juice, fruit beverage, probiotic beverage, or related liquid-food manufacturing
- Strong hands-on experience in process development, fermentation, scale-up, and factory troubleshooting
- Background in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field
- Ability to independently investigate root causes and implement practical corrective actions
- Good understanding of fermentation control, fruit/pulp behavior, thermal process interaction, and beverage manufacturability
- Ability to guide decisions on when to homogenise, when to filter or screen, and how to make the process work reliably at plant scale
Strong preference for candidates who have
- worked on kombucha or other fermented beverages
- solved stability or pulp-related issues in commercial production
- built SOPs and technical systems that operators can follow
- worked in live manufacturing, not just laboratory development
