Software Engineering Manager (Data)

Best Buy™ India is seeking a Software Engineering Managers (Data) to play a key role in shaping Best Buy's Experience Data Domain team. You will work with Product Managers, User Experience Designers, Architects, and other team members to modernize and build products that align to the product team's vision and strategy. The engineering of these products will leverage multi-cloud platforms, human centered design, Agile and DevOps principles to deliver industry leading solutions at high velocity with unrivaled quality. You will build and maintain a team of talented software engineering professionals, mentoring and fostering their professional growth. All of this will be done by embracing inclusive leadership behaviors, working through ambiguity, demonstrating a strong attention to detail, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. The Data and AI enablement teams are enabling capabilities to accelerate end to end data and AI adoption across Advanced Analytics, Product Teams, and Best Buy Sales and Operations Teams. The broader team is responsible for data strategy, availability, and adoption via self-service tools including AI model registry, activation of models for business, multichannel testing, customer relationship measurement. This team is committed to delivering the right data and AI solutions following the guidelines provided in our Responsible AI principles. The team will focus on experience data domain(s) and will help providing crucial insights on the experiences for our product teams, proactively identifying and alerting on experience issues with end-to-end visibility into the full stack and aligning these insights with business performance indicators in real-time. This role will also provide an opportunity canvas for stakeholders to prioritize fixing user experience issues. The ideal candidate must have substantial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and web analytics.
