Position Overview
The Senior Solutions Engineering Lead / Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives supporting Wealth Management, Banking, and Bessemer’s family office platforms. This role drives enterprise platform modernization, operational scalability, regulatory alignment, and client experience transformation across firm platforms.
The position partners with senior business leaders, engineering teams, banking, treasury, risk, compliance, and operations to deliver scalable, well-governed technology solutions aligned with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client servicing models.
The individual serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and agile delivery teams, ensuring that initiatives are clearly defined, technically feasible, strategically aligned, and executed with precision.
The role focuses on scalable platform enablement, reusable data products, operational resiliency, and measurable business impact—not advisory-only oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Program Leadership
- Lead large-scale, multi-workstream programs across Wealth, Banking, and Family Office technology platforms.
- Lead and manage solution engineering backlogs across multiple programs, including structured intake, prioritization, refinement, and sequencing.
- Operate as a senior solution manager where required, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics in partnership with engineering teams.
- Ensure alignment across roadmap planning, resource capacity, and enterprise priorities.
- Lead agile governance frameworks for intake, decisioning, and execution transparency across programs.
Stakeholder Partnership & Intake Management
- Serve as a senior point of contact for enterprise solution requests across business and control functions.
- Facilitate structured intake processes that clarify scope, dependencies, business value, regulatory implications, and technical feasibility.
- Translate complex business needs into scalable solution designs, with clear articulation of trade-offs and sequencing decisions.
- Manage competing priorities across domains, ensuring disciplined prioritization and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive executive-level transparency on program status, risks, and delivery health.
Platform, Data & Solution Domain Expertise
- Apply strong understanding of enterprise platforms, managed account structures, asset class models, operational workflows, and account hierarchies to inform solution design.
- Identify opportunities to simplify architecture, rationalize legacy processes, and standardize data structures across domains.
- Ensure that solution engineering efforts promote scalability, interoperability, and long-term maintainability.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Experience & Capabilities
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Family Office, Asset Management, or Investment Technology.
- Demonstrated leadership of enterprise-scale, cross-divisional technology programs.
- Proven experience leading solution engineering, program management, within an Agile delivery environment.
- Strong investment and wealth management domain knowledge, including managed accounts (SMA/UMA), asset class structures, and portfolio data models.
- Experience in regulatory engagement, audit oversight, and risk framework development.
- Experience managing roadmaps and program budgets.
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
- MBA or advanced degree.
The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. In addition, this position may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, and other compensation programs as applicable. Eligible employees may participate in a 401(k) program with a generous profit-sharing contribution, medical, prescription dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; disability coverage; paid holidays; vacation; and sick time, subject to plan terms and Company policies.
